Legal Assistance
Free legal services for homeowners, including foreclosure prevention and assistance with an application for the California Mortgage Relief Program, are available through the organizations listed below. Services are provided by Qualified Legal Services Projects (QLSPs) and Qualified Support Centers (QSCs) throughout California. Among the areas of legal services provide are:
- Foreclosure prevention
- Mortgage lending and servicing
- Wills and estates assistance
- Bankruptcy questions
- Divorce and restraining order concerns
- And other matters related to preserving sustainable homeownership for borrowers who generally cannot afford to pay for such legal services
