There is no guarantee that every eligible application will be funded due to the limited availability of funds.

What is the California Mortgage Relief Program?
The California Mortgage Relief Program has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in critical assistance to thousands of California homeowners struggling with financial hardships.
Eligible homeowners have received grants up to $80,000 that never has to be paid back to help with missed mortgage payments, late property taxes, loan deferrals, partial claims, or other homeowner financial hardships.

Program No Longer Accepting Applications
The one-time, federally funded California Mortgage Relief Program is no longer accepting new applications for assistance. Applications that were already submitted will be processed until all available funds have been awarded.
Program Closure Phases
We are currently in phase 2.
Phase 1
Applicants are encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible, as funds are running low.
Phase 2
Submitted applications will be processed until all funds have been awarded.
Phase 3
During this final phase, remaining funds are disbursed to eligible applicants completing the program’s commitment to providing help to homeowners.
